The Siamese Mate Cube is certainly one of the strangest and most difficult Rubik's Cubes to solve. These cubes were sold during the original craze, although they weren't produced in the millions like solitaire Rubik's cubes. On eBay, original Mate Cubes from the 1980s sell for around US$ 100 to US$ 125, a far cry from the original price of US$ 4.
