165. William "Refrigerator" Perry's Super Bowl XX ring in 1985

Manufacturer: Jostens
Original price: US $ 5.000*
Worth today:
US$ 200,000*

William “Refrigerator” Perry was a defensive lineman who played primarily with the Chicago Bears. Over his ten-season NFL career, he made a name for himself as one of the most hard-hitting tackles of all time. The 335-pound, 6'2” forward's Super Bowl ring sold for $$ 200,000 a few years ago.

Auctioned by Heritage Auctions, Perry won the ring in Super Bowl XX 1985. His ring was one of the largest rings ever made. It was estimated to be twenty-five in size, but there were no measuring tools available that were large enough to confirm the size. The collectible was auctioned off for charity and came complete with a photo of Perry holding the ring and the letter of provenance that authenticates it.
