Norman Rockwell is one of America's most famous painters and illustrators. His work was widely popular because of its universal representation of American culture. He drew the cover of The Saturday Evening Post for nearly thirty years.
Rockwell's "Puppy Love" lithographs (a certain type of print using a metal or stone plate) were prints of a boy, a dog, and a bunch of puppies. There are autumn leaves floating around the group, and it's a beautifully serene image. These lithographs, printed on Arches paper, were sold in limited quantities in 1976 and are resold at auction for almost US$ 20,000.
