The Ozarks span five states including Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. Most of the Ozarks are in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. For a while, the Ozarks were one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US.
The Ozark Roadside Tourist Pottery Collection is a collection of cement pottery made by the Ozark Pottery Company. Pottery was sold during the 1930s and 1950s, when souvenir, craft, and novelty shops were a common feature of Ozark tourism in the automobile age. Now these ceramic parts cost US $ 800 and more if they are authentic from OPC.
