“Nasty Nick” is an expensive Garbage Pail Kids card, but right behind him is Adam Bomb. The 1985 # 6a Adam Bomb is worth US$ 3,000 today in mint condition. Made by Topps, the Cabbage Patch parody was one of several figurines depicting evil child characters.
Adam Bomb portrayed a little boy in a blue suit with his head exploding at the push of a button – no doubt a play on the “atomic bomb”. One auction house blamed "unbridled '80s nostalgia" for the high auction price of these cards. Most Garbage Pail card sales are on eBay.
