You may not know this, but collecting spanners is a hobby and can be quite lucrative. This switch, a John Deere TR590, is one of seven or eight in existence. It was auctioned in York in 2009, where it sold for an astonishing $ 15,000.

The TR590 was part of the all-wheel drive, three-wheel, four-cylinder Dain tractor that John Deere, a well-known tractor company, manufactured in 1918 and 1919. Only 100 of these tractors were built and sold, most in North Dakota. North and South, before John Deere abandoned it to focus on the Model D. Wrenches came with the tractors and were left behind except for this one and a few others.
